By making a sauna booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
1.1 Booking Confirmation
All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking
Your booking is confirmed when payment is received and you receive a confirmation email
Bookings open 30 days in advance, to the hour, on a rolling basis
1.2 Session Details
Barrel Sauna: for 2 hours 45 minutes, up to 6 guests
Cube Sauna: for 2 hours 45 minutes, up to 5 guests
Prices are as displayed at time of booking
1.3 Group Size
Maximum 6 guests on site per session (as per sauna capacity)
All guests must be listed on the booking
Additional / non-sauna guests are not permitted on site
1.4 Lead Booker Responsibility
The lead booker is responsible for ensuring all participants:
Are aware of safety requirements
Comply with all sauna rules
2. SESSION TIMES & ACCESS
2.1 Arrival
Please arrive at your booked session time
Late arrivals: Session time is not extended
Very late arrivals: Please call 01639 865485
2.2 Session Duration
Sessions are 2 hours 45 minutes
Includes set-up, sauna use, and clean-up time
You must vacate the sauna area by the end of your session
Parking is limited so please leave site promptly
2.3 Fire Lighting Service
Optional service: £5 cash tip to staff member (paid directly on arrival)
Subject to staff availability
Not available for 6:00am session

3. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
3.1 Cancellation Policy
More than 48 hours before session: Full refund or rescheduling
Less than 48 hours before session: No refund or rescheduling
No-shows: No refund or rescheduling
3.2 Rescheduling
Subject to availability
3.3 Cancellation by Us
In the event of essential maintenance or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer:
Full refund, OR
Alternative date/time
We are not liable for travel or associated costs
3.4 Weather
Sessions proceed in all weather conditions (saunas are sheltered)
No refunds for adverse weather
Outdoor experience - please dress appropriately
4. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS - MANDATORY
4.1 Safety Waiver
A safety waver must be completed by the booking lead, who is responsible for ensuring that all members of the party have read and understand the safe use instructions and rules
4.2 Age Requirements
Under 18s require parental/guardian consent and supervision
4.3 Medical Fitness
You must be medically fit to use sauna and cold plunge facilities

4.4 No Solo Use
Minimum 2 people per booking - for safety reasons
Never use sauna alone
5. SAUNA RULES (Must be followed)
5.1 Fire Safety
Wood burner gets extremely hot
Only use provided firewood (Firewood in sauna is for sauna use ONLY)
Never leave wood burner door open
Do not touch stones, hot tap, or anything above burner with bare hands
Be careful pouring water on stones - steam can burn very quickly
5.2 Cold Plunge Safety
Plunge pool: Approximately 5m x 4.5m (obround), 1m deep
The entrance steps may be slippery - use built stone walls for support
Note: Stone walls are not purpose-built handrails
Swimming ability required due to pool size and cold shock response
Never jump in - slippery surfaces and only 1m deep
Walk slowly between sauna and pool
5.3 Waterfall Area
Slippery uneven rocks on approach
Variable water flow which can change rapidly
Risk of falling rocks or debris from above
Use at own risk
5.4 General Rules
No solo use - minimum 2 people required
Exit immediately if you feel unwell
Never fall asleep in sauna
No pets inside sauna (extreme heat is dangerous for animals)
No food or drink inside sauna
Sit on towels, not directly on benches
Remove all makeup, perfume, and glitter before using facilities (to protect wildlife in pool)
No smoking inside sauna
Never run between sauna/pool/waterfall - walk slowly to cool down
5.5 Duration Limits
Maximum 20 minutes in sauna at a time recommended
We recommend 5-15 minute sessions
Take cooling breaks between sessions
5.6 Behaviour
No intoxication or drug use
Respectful behaviour required
We reserve the right to end sessions immediately for safety breaches
No refund given in these circumstances
6. WHAT'S INCLUDED
Your Session Includes:
Use of barrel or cube sauna (wood-fired)
Fire pit with provided firewood and firelighters
Access to plunge pool (natural rock pool, approximately 5m x 4.5m, 1m deep)
Access to waterfall area
Access to roll-top bath (spring-fed)
Fire lighting tools (matches, kindling)
Not Included:
Towels (bring your own)
Refreshments (bring a water bottle which can be refilled at reception - stay hydrated)
Fire lighting service (optional extra, £5 cash tip)
What to Bring:
Towels (at least 2 per person recommended)
Swimwear
Water bottles (stay hydrated!)
Warm clothes for afterwards
Footwear suitable for uneven, potentially muddy terrain
Insect repellent (if visiting June-September during midge season)
7. SITE ACCESS & CONDITIONS
7.1 Location
Sauna area is nestled in woodland setting beside waterfall
Uneven natural terrain throughout
Can be muddy in wet weather
Path from parking to sauna crosses natural ground
Please review our Accessibility Information before booking
7.2 Weather
Sessions run in all weather conditions
Outdoor experience - dress appropriately for conditions
Paths can be very slippery when wet
7.3 Facilities
Lighting is provided in the sauna and pool area only. A torch must be used to walk around the site which is a dark sky area where wildlife welfare is a priority
No changing rooms at sauna location (use towels/robes)
Toilets are located by campsite reception – due to the limited number of bathrooms, use of the campsite showers is not included with the sauna session
Campsite facilities available if you're also staying with us
7.4 Access Road
Same rough access road as campsite
Drive slowly and carefully – there maybe pedestrians and potholes
8. LIABILITY & INSURANCE
8.1 Assumption of Risk
Sauna and cold plunge carry inherent risks including:
Heat exposure, dehydration, burns
Cold water shock, hypothermia
Slippery surfaces, falls
Uneven terrain
You acknowledge and assume these risks by booking

8.2 Personal Property
We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
Do not leave valuables unattended
No secure storage available at sauna location
8.3 Personal Injury
You use facilities at your own risk (subject to safety waiver)
We are not liable except where caused by our negligence
Public liability insurance is in place
8.4 Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence
9. CLEANING & RESPECT
9.1 Leave No Trace
Please tidy up after your session
Remove all rubbish – recycling is available by reception – take everything else home with you
Leave the sauna ready for next guests
9.2 Firewood
IMPORTANT: Firewood in sauna is for sauna use ONLY
Do not take firewood for other purposes – theft of firewood will result in a permanent ban from the facilities
9.3 Wildlife & Environment
Respect local wildlife
No makeup/perfume/glitter in pool (protects aquatic life)
Natural setting - please help us preserve it
10. GIFT VOUCHERS
10.1 Validity
Sauna gift vouchers valid for 12 months from purchase date
No extensions available
10.2 Redemption
Must be redeemed when booking (not on arrival)
Non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash
No change given if session value less than voucher value
Multiple vouchers can be used for a single booking
11. CCTV
CCTV is in operation around the site which will be used in the event of an incident only
12. PRIVACY & DATA
12.1 Information Collection
Name, contact details, number of guests
Used for booking management and safety compliance (waiver records)
12.2 Data Retention
Safety waivers retained for 6 years (legal requirement for liability purposes)
12.3 Marketing
We may contact you about future offers (opt-out available)
We will never share your information with third parties for marketing
13. CHANGES & CLOSURES
We reserve the right to close facilities without reason or warning. We will notify you as soon as possible and offer a refund or alternative date.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
